bump seems a bit high though.
is the white luminosity material the only light source?
and why didn't you use vray's dof (just curious)?

That is area light and there are more area lights in the room but they are invisible on the render.
I didnt use vray's dof because i cant get it work :cry:

try a physical cam with a target and activate dof in the last attribute tab.
there's another way with a non-physical cam, activating dof in the vray bridge tab, but i never use this.

try zoppo's suggestion to use a target for the camera.
I use DOF a lot with the normal camera. It looks great!
The target spot indicates the focus point and the "aperture" value (in the Vray camera tab of the render settings) the amount of Blur.

I like the slight grain on the floor: How do you get this effect? Is it very fine bump?

i think glossiness subdivisions in specular layer parameters of the material are low
please correct me if i'm wrong here, i'm still learning this stuff :?
