why displacement tab not in material?

NB, Can you keep displacement tag with material?
I have just downloaded the amazing strawberry material from Shordy (many thanks for that :D), and i see that the displacement obviously drive the divot but how do i keep the tag with the material so, i can keep in a library with out having to recreate this tab plus remember its settings, why isn't this tab apart of the material itself, makes more sense, doesn't it?

Just make a cube, rename it to recognize it easily (material name p.e), apply the material and tag to the cube, and save that! thats it.

Thanks for that, i thought that was the way, but had hoped i could just have all the displacement material without having to have lots of little cube/sphear and such, as part of my library :( .

i store it in null object, similar with cub example.
