when i build a big scene, its not easy to change the sun direction. i have to group all hundrets of objects and rotate them to the right position. the North East South and west option is not enough. it changes the color mood of the pictures. i know it is in the cinema tag. but maybe vray can overide it in the light tag....

you can just use an infinite Light, place it anywhere you want and tick on physical sun/ sky.
no need to fiddle around with latitudes, logitudes and daytimes.

You dont have to group all objects and rotate them, you just have to create a null object, put the sun in it, and then you can rotate that null and change the sun direction to the exact position you want.

I`m to lazy for that ;-) simpler to adjust sun parameters then then move light.

sorry tong stop getting lazy;-),
you can even prepare a libary object so you only have to drag and drop a premade sun that is alraedy in a null

cheers
