This is my first attempt in vray. DOF done in PS.
I don't know how to make the grass and sideline look more realistic.
It looks all so flat.

looks great for a 1st image man.

Put some displacement on the grass. It'll make it much more realistic.
I think you can also work on your lines. :)

Just another thing i see. There is a blurred tree on the left of the building for no reason..

cheers

Looking pretty good, well done.
For the grass, I personally woudn't use displacement, as your texture seems fine as is.
Just make some grass blades stick out in Photoshop, at the edges of the building and sidewalk, it will do the trick.
You might want to airbrush a little bit of shading where the grass is sloping up (on the left), and maybe add a shadow coming from a tree (just use the alpha of a tree, and place it in the correct sun perspective in Photoshop), on the bottom left of the image, to make that area a bit more interesting.

thanks.
Maybe I trie a little displacement (not like trying do see each grass blade) but to have the surface a liitle uneven.
The idea with a shadow of a tree is very good. But I have to find the right position that it doesn't look like it is standing on the rugby pitch.

I don't know why the one tree on the left is more blurred than the backgound . Maybe because it is a 3D model.

Unfortunatly it will take a while since my render machine last night.

Second that. No need for dof in a shot like this.

Peace,

thanks so far.
I will leave the DOF out.
As soon as I have my computer back I will present the hopefully final image :D
