the lamp is actually pretty nice. the teapot has to much noise for my taste.

I just had a look at your nice lamp scene and I am wondering
why did you use two SSS materials stacked over each other
and not just one?

But some odd behaviour...
when you put the box under hypernurbs you get strange artifacts...

desperate for solution....

these materials uses not vray sss but c4d sss,

there are some limitations with the c4d sss, so not all is possible.
geometry must be triangulated all time with c4d sss. (at least if it has some curved parts in it.

when using hypernurbs also make sure all is trianglated

vray sss brings far more capabilities and the 2 sided material that we bring in next free update. specially for things like the lapmshade the 2 sided material is much more advanced and faster:-)
