I hope I`ll explain clear enough: in vray setup all submenu tabs are aligned left and it`s quite hard to orient wich tab is main and wich is second-rate. It would be more productive if second-rate tabs was more right (or somehow differently).
In case you didn`t understand me:
Not like this:
Light cache
Calculation parameters
But like this:
Light cache
Calculation parameters
Good luck!

hi your 2 examples are the same arent they?:-)
anyway i know what you mean, sadly the maxon sdk doesnt let us make this.
it is somehow limited possibilities in the sdk and offers no all choice we wanted too.
overall Renato and daniele already did fight hard to get vray as close to c4d as it is now:-)
however maxon is aware that 3rd party engines are their friend and are akso good for maxon and they will improve the support for integration of 3rd party renderengines.

i understand what ler01 is saying
in the submenu of the GI it's sometimes confusing where in what submenu
you are
just an extra highlight or different color for the main submenu of the different gi engines (just the words of the GImethode : IR / LC and the others would already be enough to separate things)
is this making sense ?

Maby it would be more usable, if names of tabs would be something like this:
Main tab
_secondary tab
__even more secondary tab (don`t realy remember now if vrayforc4d has them)
_secondary tab
Main tab
Main tab
I hope You`ll understand my idea.
If not: i ment use underscore to indent sub categories.

hi all,
it is same on osx and win.
we can only make what cinema4d allows graphic wise.
so no colored things and no other etxras sadly. we worked long to make it as it is with the possibilities that the sdk brings.
i hope maybe for future maxon will expand this, or even better bring us out od the "post effect" menue, at the mometn all renderegnies have to be in post effects which is also not the best place for it.
so, if possible, we are the first to use the possibilities:-)
lets hope for new sdks...
cheers
