Hi.
I'm playing with Vray since it is released but these are my first "published" renders. Bathroom for a client (I'm an architect).
And here is the VR panorama.

C&C are welcome and much appreciated. (On the panorama there are some light leaking problems, in the corner between the bathtube and a wall but, I think, it's becouse of single face walls).
cheers

The bathtube lights are not IES :D I'm on 9.6 and IES are broken here, these are two spotlights, one with small angle and one wide open with big penumbra angle. You are right with the shower light, I thougt about it, but project is not finished yet, we don't have drawing for ceiling, so I wasn't sure. You know how clients can be...

Hi.
Thank you for your kind words :) Thereticly everything is fine with the geometry of the ceiling, but somehow it kept rendering like this, like there was a whole.

Hej!
Trochę słabe ustawienia, szczególnie widać to przy oknie. Światło rozchodzi się jakby między ścianą a sufitem był prześwit, a domyślam się że go nie ma. No i przy wannie też plamki :)
Poza tym przydałoby się trochę urozmaicić scenę. Nie wiem jakiś ręczniczek, roleta w oknie sam nie wiem :)
Pozdrawiam!
p.s.uczcie się polskiego bo mi się angielskiego nie chce ;)

Cześć Wojtek :)
Masz racje musimy troche spolonizowac to forum. Slyszalem ze zaopatrzyles sie w Q6600, tez to zrobilem 8) i podkrecilem go jeszcze na 3,2, teraz to jest frajda. Z tymi przeciekami swiatla problem prawie znika przy Very High, pewnie troche to tez kwestia scianek z pojedynczych face-ow.
I will try again with higher setings to avoid light leaking, and maybe turn of the dof

Sorry :)
He asked me about lighting the scene. This is Sun but without a Sky, instead I put a sphere with luminance, this gave me more controll over the color and intensity of the light.
Off top: Recently I bougt a new machine with Quad Core Q6600 2,4 and I overclocked it a little bit to 3,2 and I must say THIS IS FUN :!: (Till now I was on mobile Centrino 2,0)

PS. Appeared that me and Wojt0000 we live and work in the same City :D

:D
ah, this is a good idea...maybe instead of using a sphere (btw, what colour did you use?), you can controll this in the environment tab, GI Override? i think that must have the same effect? no?
and: very nice work!

Hi
I put a gradient in a luminance chanel, and I prefer this way becouse I can freely controll position of my sphere.
This is my gradient map:

Ciekawe rozwiązanie ; )))))))) (to tak w ramach polonizacji forum)
looks nice ; )

cool.
what did you set your luminance value to for your material? i tend to set mine really high (thousands) or it doesn't do much.
thanks

Hi.
I set the Amount multiplier to 15 (remember to set it under Texture Map not the Color  )
The size of the sphere also maters, in this model it was 2680 cm.
nita ? - czyzby plec piekna zaszczycila to forum :o :D
cheers
