Hi there,

as i see it becoming a common thing to post a lot of wips here i thought maybe put something up myself.

The model was made last year and now as i got my hands on vray i needed to texture it again. Not finished as i found some geometry needs tweaking for rendering in Vray. But he, feedback would be nice.

@scanmead and Stefan. thanks for the comments. Yeah i know the garage needs some love too. The car is also missing some fine detail and of course a really good interior. Right now i working on some shader tweaking on the wheels. The body color is also "to be decided". I like to go with blue but the original car came in a variety of cool color. Maybe in the end it will be another black car in my collection ;) .

Any suggestions on the lighting right now. It's just a sun light passing through the windows for now. I haven't decided where to go with it.

Updates to follow.

Update.

Worked so detail into the background and i thin i'm halfway there. The car got some work on the interior and the materials too. Reworked the front bumper and indicator lights. made some changes to the wheels. The tire material is not 100% there. If somebody has a good tire mat flying around maybe share the settings with me.

The floor is the right color for now, but way to clean. My image concept is more into the direction to have the car as the only clean thing in the scene.

Anyway the image.

Thanks for the comments. I was playing with that license creator website and been watching the old knight rider videos lately so somehow it overcame me.

An update is underway. rendering right now. I'm still not finished with the garage but the car got nearly all details i like to have on it.

Still working on this scene. I made some changes to the car. Body color obviosly changed to the one and only black. Added some pieces i missid when modeling the body. Interior is done in red leather but it's not the perfect lighting to see the interior right now. Fitted a lot of stuff to the scene.

Comments? Right now i'm pretty much stuck with my ideas. Need input. :)

I like it a lot, but i think the floor is to clean an smooth, and if it is a repair shop it must be dirty. Keep going!

i like it but
i can see the sky reflaction as blue on the car body, but it's white when i look at thought the window.

hi

nice car there, and clean modeling!

i think your plyers are out of scale, as well as your 'wrenches' (not sure this is the right word in english.
The light pattern puzzles me. The light squares on the wall seem much bigger than the holes in the window. (are you using spot light in stead of parallell?)
the scene could benifit of more clutter. Old corrugated boxes, tin cans of oil, maybe a pile of car magazines, an oil barrel, some more wheels, ...

+ it's too clean for a hobby'ists working spot.

good luck,

ch.

Thanks for the comments guys. Been working on some other stuff over the last days.

@hiro and ZuluQ I know it needs more dirt. This will come very soon. Need to do some texturing training and tests first. Right now i mostly use shaders. Using pixel textures is new for me.

@sadece So what am i doing wrong. Shader settings? There is only one sunlight with Phys Sky in the scene for now.

@charlemagne I think the plyers and wrenches are ok so far. I can make them smaller but for me they look right although it's been some time since i last been in a workshop. Larger or smaller, what do you mean by "out of scale". The light situation is confusing you a little. The light on the backwall is form two skylights in the roof of the building. Basically just holes in the roof. No spotlights in there. Only one sun that's it.
More clutter is right. I need time for this. Pretty busy with work these days, which is good but i still want to finish this. Thanks for the input.

Hopefully you will see new rendering of this in the next few days.

Hi there. Some New WIP images from us here in Berlin. The Bonneville is still in the making but I wanted to show some other stuff for now.

This is a little side project of ours because we love everything with an engine in it. Two wheels prefered.

Nice. I love bikes. Did you model this as well or did you buy the model?

Cian.

Model is made by me too. Nobody offering it right now. The lack of good blueprints made me do it from photos only so it was a bit of a harder modeling exercise.

@adri What else? A little help on the welds of the headers from ZB otherwise totally made in c4d and rendered in Vray.

@Lesia44 Thanks a lot.

How long did it take to model? And the texture lighting and rendering?

@Lesia44 I started this model last year and worked on it for about a month. I picked it up again in april. This is a side project, so in only worked on it in my spare time. I started a different bike some days ago and i think in the end it will take me 2 weeks full working time?

The lightsetup is based on that wonderfull studioscene from this forum. I modified some settings and some Vray settings too.
