hi guys,
hiro just told me that this here is the proper place to post my work in progress. so here i go:

i would like to show you some renders from the job i´m on. It´s going to be an educational thing for children explaining them stuff about politics, administration, business and school. all the modelling is meant not to be smooth - should be paper cut outs.

At the moment I´m finishing the modelling and adjusting the renders.

Comments are welcome.

hey, thanks to STRAT (i read his comments on another tread) i disabled the secondary bounces and i like the render more. it´s still not perfect but love the idea of desabling the secondary.

I prefer with secondary, especially renders 2, 3 and 4 on your first post. The bright, cleaner lighting is really nice. Love this piece of work, really nice.

Cheers

also for me the one with secondray bounces looks much better.
the last image lacks a lot of quality.

i would not disable seconday bounces, this only reduces light quality and gives unnatural cg look. the first images looks alive, the last one is dull and "dead".

also please read my PM.

cheers

Second that! The secondary bounce images are sweet.

Hello,
I like it also more with sec. bounces. May be you can try to make the material darker - it seems to be a bit overlit somewhere. Otherwise very nice pictures.

apart from the light settings, the style looks funny. :)
