I've uploded a expression plugin that maybe can be of help learning what all these "new" important settings actually do!

It is a tag that you add to a VrayPhysicalCamera and you can see on the Front - and BackBlur Gizmos what is happening to DOF when changing F-Stops, FilmFormat,Focal Length etc.

It has no settings but is dependent of the Documents FilmFormat.
You put in real filmformats , like 36x24 for 35mm film, in the RenderSettings->Output and the correct aperture is set to the camera.

Please see the included READ_ME for details.

NOTE. It is only for R10.111/VrayForC4D and a Camera with a VPC Tag.

Found at:

tcastudios (http://www.tcastudios.com) -> xlinks

Please let me know if there are any issues, only tested in R10.111 OSX.

Cheers
Lennart

Hi lennart,

I would like to create the second volume of Vtraining (animation and tips&tricks)

Do you like if your plugin is included in this volume?

If you are interested, contact me.

Best. Cristian.

Hej Lennart,

Will this plugin not be available for free anymore since you've removed access to your xfiles?

I'd really love to try it out/use it if I could.

Please? ;)

Hälsningar,
Stéphane
