some time ago i made "black ice" you know like in Johnny Mnemonic movie ;-) but i can`t find it on mine PC right know. :cry:

Looks very cool, if you can find it again that would be incredible, and can you change the black to light blue/white etc to get a natural ice effect.

The best ice i've seen so far was by Bernard Barbi in his W.I.P images, a block of ice and a fridge seen I think.

I'd still really like an ice material, or advice on how to make one.

More importantly an Icicle style shader

I've got a client that's asking for a friend scene with text saying Cold to be inc with icicles hanging around the text and possibly on the text.

Any help woul be greatly appreciated. 8)

you could try some modification of glass.use`fluffy`s and kevinJ´s approach with water-droplets. my attempt:

sure, play with gi-reflection/gi-refraction if it takes to long to render on your machine. credits go to glass.use, kevinJ and fluffy.
