Looks great... how did you do the book covers? Scanned them all manually or did you buy some stock material?
cheers, Lex
Thank you for your comment.
I model around 10 books, change scale to make variations then "instanced". Scanned around 20 covers and then manually apply and offset to make variations again.

it looks good!
i don't like though the c4d archi version of parquet floor - it looks exactly like a cheap vinyl floor :)

Hi zbus
your lightning is very nice!!
what method did you use?
is the yellowish toning coming from the light source, white balance or something else?

Glad that u guys like it.
The lighting is very simple and nothing so special about it. Since im using c4d for quite a long time and I still use its workflow applying to vray. So for that yellow tin, it came from the background image. I choose the background image i like, make a copy and select (masked) the main color i want in photoshop. In the c4d scene, the original background just have a texture picture in the diffuse channel. And one copy of it which contained the masked color version in luminance channel, set to 200% and check "unseen by camera" in vray compositing tag. This technique is similar to cinema advance render, making 2 HDRI sky, 1 for Gi and 1 for reflection, refraction, etc.
Hope u guys find its useful.
