Maybe it has to do with you using 1.03?
I'm still using 1.00

Just dloaded it and tried. Opened and pressed render and it works fine.
Using 1.03.

No , you are right Rich. I tried the second room, not the second scene .
Yes it is rendering black. Change the time of day on the Sun tag and it renders better.

Argggg You're Right Lennart. It was the time. 05:00 AM. At that time it is still a bit dark outside. hahaha

It would be good to have some future scenes labled: 'medium setting', 'stupid amazing big intense setting' to categorise the scene on how big the renders are.

i think there is a texture missing and not applied.
just put the material on objects then it renders fine.
in a small test those scenes render in 9 sekonds on my macpro:-)
