Brightness=Time?

Hi

AR render times isn't dependant on light brightness but I find Vray's rendering time is highly dependant on light intensity. Am I doing something wrong or is this the way Vray works? How can I avoid this?

if you use extreme values time can go up a bit yes.
but that should not be much if your settings re resonable.

as vray automaticly adapts to the needed samples intesive lit areas can need more samples. this depends much on your settings and the used GI engines.
