hello,
i found when i flipped object on X coordinate to -1, i have problem on material, on this scene there's problem on roof.
and that produce some artefact too.

any help on this?
i just use default setup
irmap on -3/-1
else is default
for material, i make new material on vray material

I think it is a normals problem. Check the normals or the roof of the flipped object, They probably need to be reversed.

update on this, there's still have problem with roof.
i make object instance and then press C to make it real object and adjust normal on roof, and failed, there's still problem
and i try again to reverse normal, and still have a problem, anyone know how to fix this....

Could you post the just the roof that works, and the one that doesn't?

Might be a UV problem too. Please post the roof if you can.

Do you have any overlapping geometry, I had a similar looking problem

I had a look at your file, your normals were back to front but that did not make any difference, no overlapping geometry. I copied the roof adjacent to it and moved it poly's around to replace the mirrored roof and it rendered fine. So it looks like vray is not 100% happy with mirrored (-scaled) objects. If you try using a symmetry object it works fine.

Hi the_X,
try to use the mirrored object instead o a scaled (-1) one as marshalartist correctly suggested and all should work fine.

YES, many thx guys, it's works fine with symetry. many thx again, now it's time to "dig" it again to maximal :lol: :lol:
