Hello Everyone,
I am new in c4dvray and i am looking to find a good material to use for swimming pool as the one that Mr Kizo use.
I found some in this site (http://www.vray-materials.de/all_materials.php?q=WATER&Submit=Search) but unfortunadly are all for max vray users.
C4dvray has any wedsite that we can share or buy materials?
Thank you
Riana

Hello and Welcome.
The material site can be found here.

For water materials do a search here. There are some good solutions here even some with scene files where you learn some settings.

Unfortunately the current mat repository doesn't have a good pool water solution. I've been wrestling with one for days and still can't get the coloring just right. Here is the best I've come up with so far

If anyone has any tips or can provide a nice looking pool water, I'd be very appreciative.

Hi Troyan,
Maybe you like this setup:

I have made this pool with a shader containing a 3D - Linear gradient. It is not so much the water but more the suggestion of depth in the water that could improve the image. Glass.use provided a nice looking water shader. I've applied a blue shader to the geometry of the pool. The 3D gradient shader is dark blue at the bottom and light blue on top. The more shallow the water gets, the lighter the color becomes.
Hope this helps,
cheers, Lex

Excellent tutorial Lex! And so far between the 3 I've seen, including Glass.use, yours renders the fastest while maintaining the same look. However I have 1 problem with everyone's setup and it's the use of the Water surface shader everyone is using. Looks good from a distance but up close the sharp crease lines in the water don't look realistic. It looks fine in AR but Vray does too good of a job with details :). Other blurred, animated noises look much better (blistered turbulence for one, if you can believe that). Also, I don't think using displacement is necessary. I think the same result is achieved and I think renders a little faster if you use the bump channel for the micro ripples and displace the surface with modifiers for larger ripples and things bobbing in the water. That's how I wound up doing it in my scene because it allows for a lower poly water mesh. The ball and ducky are riding the surface of the water (you can even animate their X and Z positions and they'll ride the surface while they move). The only thing I didn't work on is making a little ripple when the ball hits the water.

Thanks a lot for explanation Studiolex !!!

I see now that you need displacement for the caustics which is kind of stinky :). However, I still think over shaders look better than the Water surface shader.

Thanks guys,
@Troyan,
Off course feel free to adjust the settings anyway you want. This is just one possibility that is suitable for many needs. Water has so many appearances; you can't have just one cg solution that fits all needs...
For close-ups you need more tricks. For the water mesh you can for example use a Landscape Object in combination with one or two Wind Deform Objects.
Another way is using C4D's Cloth. More difficult to set up, but I have seen amazing results with this approach.
In your case I think a good solution might be to use the Add-The-Sea (http://add-the-sea.de/plugins/addthesea/reloaded/anis/addthesea-Verfolger.mov) plugin from MotionGimmick.com (http://www.motion-gimmick.com/)
cheers, Lex
