The new amber is not as good as the old

The C4D amber on the left, the preferred material, was converted in Vray to the amber on the right. The color of the C4D is very close to the internet source (sampled using the Mac DigitalColor Meter).

The RGB of the Vray amber matches the C4D but does not give the same color. Is there a way to keep the RGB and match the C4D color?

the conversion plugin is meant to give you a fast start, not for final rendering.
you will want to adjust that for sure:-)
