Never thought I'd see a volume cloud render that fast! (That was actual render time, right?)
Looks great!

great!
Is this w.i.p work with current version of vfc?
or it will be in update!?

Cool Renato. Indeed the rendering of the clouds is very very vast.
Peace,
Rich_Art.

I hate to be critical but the scene would be much improved by a ground plane a sky object and rendered in multipass using compositing tags.
Just kidding that looks amazing! Vray has added a whole new level of excitement for C4D. I can not wait to see what else you can make it do, thanks for all your effort and the rest of the team :D

Hello All,
the rendering is fast.. because Maxon made great volumetric implementations.
Must work all c4d volumetric effects, fog, hair included... but i need to make a good implementation.. with reflections, Shadow.. etc..
Cheers :)

Do you write about new version of cinema4d(beta test with vray)?
Or about 10.111....
stefan

this is 10.111 i think.

No, it won't render faster. Pyro can render fast, though. Have you tried changing the world step value?

Vray can't be faster on volumetrics .. because it's Cinema that Trace them :) so it's faster like c4d :)

I set up what I thought was a similar scene and once I switched to Vray(1.0.5). Only black.
