hello
finally I am about to change my processor...I have the p5b delux asus motherboard + duo 2 core 6600 and it is pretty slow machine !
I wish to upgrade it...should I upgrade to this : Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz 8Mb BOX + the same motherboard or should I better to change also motherboard support this : Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 2.5GHz 6Mb BOX
Quad 6600 = Duo 6600 * 2
Quad Q9300 = Duo 6600 * 3
choose ;-)

there's one comparison over here...don't really know how relevant this is...q9300 is in between these two so...take your pic...there is also a userfriendly app for updating bios in windows i think it's on your motherboard install cd...but be sure not to run out of power during the process.there's also documentation on the web...google it;)
PS... i would say q6600 is ofering very good value for money so...

I finally made a reservation of a new hardware...and listen to this:
Intel Quad Core Q9550 +Asus P5Q Pro (I had to change my old P5B Deluxe which DOESNT support this processor)
it is a big purchase relatively but can`t wait to see the impact :P :P
