I have an infinite light acting as a sun casting a nice shadow and light into my exterior scene.
How do i...
a) increase it's intensity? i can only go between 0-1.
b) increase/decrease the shadow intensity?
c) include/exclude things in my scene from being illuminated by it?
i used the forum's search option but didn't find any joy.
thank you.
(and before you suggest it, no, i do not want to use the sun/sky light instead)
a) Y value of sun, Size multiplier

b) for sun?

c) Vray Compositing Tag

thanks Tong, but non of those answered any of my questions.
as i stated, i dont want to use the sun object. i want to use 'normal' lights, so your suggestions for a and b dont apply. also, the vray comp tag wont allow me to exclude an object being illuminated from a particular light.
thanks
yea, needs to think ;-(
Yes,
1. Use real light values like watts so turn light to 10000 watt or 1 watt ;-)
or IES light, you can make it by yourself
3. good Wish to Wish list.

Hey Strat. You guys had a good discussion going and I felt I was interrupting. I opened the thread "Shadow Subdivision, what does it do?" here.
