Hi,
I i trying to figure out if you are suppose to set the sun brightness just rigt for a scene, then you play with the camera settings?
I'm a bit confused with this. I can have minimal sunlight, but my camera settings can still make it bright....
So is the best way to get the sun look realistic outside, THEN start playing with inside lights?

The best way I guess is to use a camera with the VrayPhysicalCam tag.
In that tag you can set the F-stop shutterspeed iso etc.

Real Sun can`t be adjust ;-)
in real life what you do to make more dark image?
1) Wait for evening (Sun Height)
2) Use Camera adjustment options (Physical camera settings)
3) Go to North Pole were night 6 month ;-)

the thing is, in Vray you can set it brighter by changing the intesity...
So it can be too bright.
so do i leave it at the default sun or the default camera?
Both can be set. I want my scene to be photo realistic, but it can be too bright outside and inside it can be fine.
To get the right balance one must either leave the sun as it is and only play around with F-stops, Iso's etc etc...?
quite difficult to explain.

to Sun or not to Sun ;-)
Try to test, can you make identical images with changing settings of both objects - sun and camera?
but increasing values of one and decreasing values of another and reverse.
You can place here your tests, it will be very educational for all.

I don't know how to get past this.
