Hi guys,
you can download the new OSX version. This should work on both Tiger and Leopard and on PPC as well.
Any OSX users should download this update (we fix Spot Lights to make them behave like Cinema ones).

Many thanks for this Daniele (and the rest of the team).

R11 works fine now :D with my old R10 PPC key(!?!) but the R10.5 version gives the old "Wrong PPC.key – Vray not loaded!" error in the console. :cry:

BTW – shouldn't this thread be in the "here are links to latest updates!" section? Took me a while to realize that it was up.

Hi Vray Team!
I just downloaded the new version (R11-Vray 1.1-OsX 10.4.11) and I made a little test and it seems everything is OK: Vray loaded in console, Material preview is OK, render too...
Thanks for everything and now I need days to study a lot of new features :shock:

I started the install process but the installer tells me that I have a newer version installed.

First delete all files and reinstall it, I think.

Yo me he asegurado de tirar todos los docuemntos de Vray en la carpeta contenido y en la de plugs. Después metÃ. la key le dia a instalar y me la instaló sin problemas. Seguramente te hayas dejado algún documento sin borrar.

A bit of feedback on this manual install zipped file: http://www.danieleficini.com/VrayForC4D/1.1/VrayForC4D_1.1_R10.111_OSX.zip. The Archive Utility does not complete the unarchiving of "VrayBridge.zip". Unzipping makes it through about 90% and then hangs. To close the Archive Utility message, since the red button and force quit do not work, the computer has to be rebooted.

Using the "Installers" version worked for me via manual installation.

I can not operate vray 1.1 to R 11

I took up with the files and gives me an error message

we for sure can help you.

we have no customer who cant run his vray, it runs on all suported plattforms.
you need a fitting vray 1.1 key of course, and it muts fit your c4d serial number

I cannot unzip the VrayForC4D 1.1 R11 OSX Demo Installer. I get an error message.

The zip of the normal version works fine but i cannot use it for demo

then you have an too old winzip, winrar or osx unzipping tool.
it works 100%. or redownload it, maybe you didnt get 100% of it.
we tested all parts they unzipp here fine on win and osx.

maybe downlaod a newer unzipp tool , then it works;-)

ps.: just re - downloaded with safari on osx 10.5, all demo zips did unzip fine

I downloaded and isntalled the R11 pkg
I am running mac osx 10.5.1running cinema R11i have tried everything as described generated all the keys and everything but still the vray plugin does not show up in my render settings. Please Help

you "generated the keys"?

you cannot generate the keys. you get them only when you buy them,

please contact us per email or telefone for install support if you need help and are a registered customer.
