if you use these kind DVD's from TDK for backup
make sure to check them if they are still okay
we have used as company these DVDs since 2002
and ALL of them are now corrupted, the older they are
the harder they get to read or even appear on your desktop
it starts after 18 months slowly all the data becomes harder to read
The DVDs are burned on different types of computers so it's not
computer problem (all mac but G3, G4, G5, intel and system 9 & 10) and we have used other brands over the years these dvds are still in good shape and work fine
it's not only a lot of work that got lost but also a lot of personal stuff recordings, tracks, mixes, photo's :(
