can we be sure the last versions is compartible to former versions ?

imagen I render a scene created in version 1.01 with version 1.0x
do I have the same output or is there any differens?

there can be slight differences, but they are compatibel

There will be difference, but the output will be better and more physically correct. But if you are in the middle of a work keep using the older version.
