Price for Vray?

I found some info that price for Vray from 1 November will be 899 $? it`s true? and if yes, what price will be for Vrayc4d ?

well i cant comment that as i am under chaosgroup nda.
there might be or not a price step for vray.

however vrayforc4d will stay at current price, dont worry.

So price fo vray for max will be 899 but for Cinema 799. it`s great news for Maxon and bad for Autodesk ;-)

also please understand our product consist of vray plus the c4d plugin development that was/ is also a big part of the work!

The correct price is 999$

And i think 790€ is a very good price for Vray. I think is not appropriate to make comparisons with Max versions. The better comparisions will be with Maxwell, Fry and FinalRender price...

Has the policy for vrayforc4d upgrades been decided yet? From what im told the max version seems to be free - i mean its been around for years and years and its only at version 1.5!! was 1.5 a paying upgrade? I was just wondering if the C4D version will recieve all the same updates to the core as and when they are implimented or will they be stored up and then released as a paying upgrade? Also will those of us who bought version 1 get the vray shaders like ao, fur etc as a free upgrade or will we need to pay?

all minor updates are free here too:-)

also 1.1, 1.2 etc. DR, Proxy is planned to be free for existing users.
only real bigger updates (1.5) will cost.

of course we do all core upgrades that happen, and also c4d plugin vray upgrades. and we do them regulary not only all 12 month;-)
