10.5 Breakdown! [solved]

Vray has stopped working since I have installed 10.5. I am on a MacPro OSX and I have 1.04 installed. Is anyone else having any problems? :(

hmm, the beta did work for us, we havent yet gotten the final yet.

also the demo works here(you must remove the "demo" from name). are you sure all parts are installed ok?

if there some last things changed we will adapt in next days.
can you say what the console says?

All new materials are Black no matter what you adjust, old materials preview but do not render, I can not get anything to render it just does nothing.

The console states that 'full upgrade is needed"

p.s on the demo you must goive the cinema4d demo.app the name cinema4d.app. with demo in the name the full verison wont work.
otherwise it worke here...

Have you reinstalled all the elements of VRay into your new C4D install? - the main app is replaced on upgrade, therefore, you have to go into it's contents again, and replace the 3 files in the MacOS folder!?

I'd have had the same problem in retrospect had I not updated to 1.04 yesterday just after installing 10.5 ;)
