View Full Version : can´t open preset files
i am in the middle of getting the animation workflow going, after restaring cinema and setting up a small test scene i tried to load the low quality gi settings an error message pops up "cannot read file/..../lowquality".tried to restart again ...same thing.any preset file file comes up with the same error.
anybody having the same problems?pls help.
i am also a little confused on how to get the animation workflow working.i read the posts here but still can´t pull it off.it´s flythrough animations.maybe someone is kind enough to give me a step by step help.
thx for the help
ok,the presets seem to work, error message stays the same....my first flythrough is on it´s way,in the end i used the max tutorialand after some fiddling it worked out :D

it's strange, it suddenly happened... when starting a new scene the problem was gone... d
on't know if it had anything to do with the problem but at a certain moment i was unable to save my file "unable to write...."
while working on a scene everything was ok(switched presets several times),than i opend a new scene (other one still open) loaded vray, placed a simple cube and the steady plane+camera.no materials at that point.entered the vray settings tab and tried to load a gi preset....error message.after trying it several times with different settings i switched to my other scene, exportet my"custom" gi settings and was able to load them but still no luck on the presets.
