Hi !

the goal is later to use attractive caustics for liquid simulations, but first I have to do some trials and experiments. For this purpose I am simply animating a glass object inside a cube, which allows to test several settings within reasonable time. For this animation shown here, 1 frame took around 1 minute and 90% of the time was spent for building the caustics photon map (no GI used).

how did you get rid of flickers!
really nice and smooth render, how much took u to render.

Total time for this animation was overnight. But this wip is not yet telling me how much it will take for the final project, because I will use objects with much higher polygon counts anyway.

Flickering: I don't have flickering from GI, because I have turned it off for this test. You can get caustics flickering, if the settings make the photons appear as single, bright white dots. In this case the photon number, caustics subdivision and search distance have to be balanced (which means experience+trials...).
