As I change c4d materiels to vray, all my alpha's turn diapositive, and I have to edit the originals, could we have change it one click diap just like in c4d materials?

i agree. the alpha channel seems to be inverted.

pain in the ass when mass converting 100's of materials from a scene which has 100's of opacity mapped objects in it like cars and trees.

I think to need use mat/group or layers to make such pain easy...

I tried to invert the alphas in C4D-materials yet before converting to vray-materials, but the same result :cry:

is really not so easy when you got hundreds of foliages in your scene and is a real pain to do it!

Just add the alpha image into a layer channel and choose invert image.

the vray alpha channel is as in most apps,
as rich-art said, simply use a layershader and activate "invert" p.e.

no need of converting the real alphas.

we will look if c4d allows a button "invert", would be a simple things then, depending if your texture is max or c4d like.

Yes, please do. As Strat said its a veritable pain in the nether regions in large scenes. Especially when converting from C4D textures...
