for physical sun the shadow is physical and i think for normal light too

Have a shadow colour: u must use to change the sahdow intesity to set to grey! ;)

i will make some test about the shadow color to see if its possible to simluate the shadow strength, nice tip MrBraun ;)

but that only lightens it doesn't it? how do i get my shadow darker and darker and darker?

well shadow can only be 100% black not darker.

if they are not black it is that another light source or diffuse gi reflection lighten them.

naturally yes, vray treats shadows as shadows should be. it's just a nice extra facility in the AR to artificially darken a shadow whether it's natural or not. sometimes it's needed.
