mac or windows xp

Under "Name your specs" one fellow mentions that people using similar speced Macs were outperformed by windows xp users. Is this the case with the newest versions of vray. I'm trying to decide whether to buy a mac or a pc. Thanks!

I suspect Stefan is the man to ask.... and I suspect the answer would be that PC's perform slightly better at some things... and Macs slightly better at others..

I guess its much of a muchness... and is really down to personal preference... (from a die hard Mac user :) )

Does bootcamp work with xp 64 bit. Is a 4 core processor Mac adequate. The one with the least ghz and 6gb of ram. Thanks!

I've seen some of your advice in the threads and will use it in my own decisions.

bootcamp work with xp 64 bit but you will need to google drivers for your hardware since apple maded mostly 32bit drivers
