I still hope for the implementation of the cartoon-renderer feature of vray for max in Vray for C4D!
Would it be very difficult to "translate" it?
There is often a wish to get an additional simple line-rendered image for the postwork...and many of us don´t need all the features of Sketch&Toon...
Greetings!

Thanks Tong, but I´m on on an intel mac. So it doesn´t work for me as described in C4dportal forum linked in your thread.
I don´t know if it would be very complicated to include the native Vray toon option (http://www.vray.com/vray_for_3ds_max/manual/vraytoon.shtml) also in VrayForC4D? What do you mean, Stefan  ?

we could add it if valdo adds this to the vray sdk, but as very few use it i am not sure he has high priority on that.
by the way, much better is sketch and toon. why dont use get this if you want cool line rendering?
maxon made one of the best NPR renders.
you can also composite and mix it with vray renders by the way.
i love ST and we use it for all line stuff
cheers

Same over here. I always use S&T for line renders.
Peace,

Not free but works with vray. http://www.biomekk.com/index.php?page=1&cat=107&itm=18
I also really love S&T. I think it's C4D's best made module.

yes, in next free update we also add a new pinhole based phycamera, that 100% matches the c4d camera and is still using the physical properties. with that you can great mix with sketch and toon and all other available modules and c4d effects
cheers
