Hi all.
This is my very first VRay render - so please be kind! Comments and criticisms are always welcome. Thanks for looking.

It's actually a kind of orange suede texture - probably would have been better in leather. I'll work on the material to improve on it.
Thanks for the comment though and the kind words.

A cool render, but try to reduce the sharpen edge! ;)

Do you mean the image overall is too sharp or specific areas of the image? Could you elaborate please? Thanks for the comment.

Hi MrBraun. I did take it into Photoshop and apply a bit of Smart Sharpen. Maybe I overdid it a little. I redo the image weither without this effect or maybe decrease it a bit. Thanks for your observation.

when you did your image, did you leave the GI bounces at 1?
How did you get your overall image bright?
What i mean is, if you take a shot outside with the same camera, will it be too bright or just right for outside too?
I'm not sure how to get my overall image brighter?
cheers

Nice render by the way.

Hi Choppir. All I did was I went into the VRay light tag and increased the Intensity Multiplier until I got the effect I wanted. I'm sure there is a better more 'professional' way of doing it but it worked for me! I've only been using VRay for a couple of days so I'm still experimenting and learning myself. If there is a better way of doing this I'd love to hear it.
Thanks for the compliment too.

Very nice. Only bit too sharp. The fire texture looks too much fake.
