.mov and vista problem

Guys, i have a lot of trouble watching .mov files, im under vista and latest quicktime, that its supposed to get along with vista, but when im trying to reproduce .mov files i got an interrupted video, strange sounds, and even blue screens, i've made a test flythrough with the tuts i find here and i cant watch it properly :cry: . Any ideas of what is happening?
