Hi,

I want to get my overall image brighter inside. Outside is fine but when i go inside it a bit too dark...I have got a lot of lights on.
I want more natural light to fill the space, but I can't put the sun up anymore, because it will overblow the outside...

Do you always leave the GI bounces to 1?

I'm not sure how to get my overall image brighter?

What will be a great way to do get a good balance inside and outside?

Advice would be greatly appreciated
:D

cheers

You can do that with the colormapping options.

Tong, there where the door is it looks like artifacts. How do you increase those 'dots' to be much smoother? - I'm probably talking about the sun's shadow... :)

Shadow subdivs increase, but I already told 3 images have the same parameters, different gamma and f stop.

Shadow subdivs - this controls the number of samples for the area shadow of the sun. More subdivs produce area shadows with better quality but render slower. For further info, please see the Examples section.

Tong, i'm not to comfortable with the physical camera yet, so i use the normal camera.

I've put Gamma to 1.8 but my image does not look that contrasty. Mine looks washed out..?

If you increase the gamma value, try activating "Adaptation Only".
Buy I think you can obtain good results only inreasing the "Dark Multiplier".
(I prefer to use the type "Exponential")

Yes, Try to tweak Dark and Bright Multipliers.

By the way where is Burn in reinhard type?

For outdoor shoot

i recomande for etape

1-exponential 2.2,2.2,08 ( for begining)

2- sun multi 1: for psysical camera

3- after your chose fstop and speed

4 - you correct your tonemapping

work with white mat or i prefere a little grey mat (210; 210; 210)
