Vray instable with Os 10.5 in 64 bits[solved]

Hello, i have a problem, i have in my work R11 with vray, system 10.5, but in 64 bits, i can't do a render, vray 1.1 crash.... if i do in 32 bits, they are no problem, but with my Mac, it's unlucky....

In my personnal Mac, with Os 10.6, there are no problem with 64 bit, but i haven't this system in my job.

if you have a solution ;)

we work ourselves on 10.5 64 bit, this works good without crashes.

maybe the instability comes due a bad cinema4d install or some other OS problem? also check you have all ok set with quicktime, it is used for textures.

i redid my installation of C4D and Vray, but my problem is still present... tomorrow i'll install 10.6 too see if the problem persist.

we had this before i think...

are you using some shaders from the starter package? (that crashes my 64 bit, too).

try to avoid these shaders and then everything works fine.

yep, but i have the same problem, vray crash with or without texture or GI..... i inform you if 10.6 works better.

as i said to R-Tel in email, he had empty material tags(the one with crosses in icon), these are materials tags that lost their material as they got deleted but are still assigned to an object.

these are not allowed in c4d 64 bit with vray. make alsways sure that the materials tags also have a material assigned in it. otherwise it crashes c4d osx64.
