Hi there,

I have just started to get my head around the proxy objects in Vray, and have worked up a simple tree.

Everything is runnings smoothly, but I am wondering, if I want to use several of these objects in a scene, am I better off creating copies of the proxy object, or should I group the elements in a null object, and use instances of the null object?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Nick

the demo doesnt have proxies. do you use the full version?

anyway, the procedure is to creat instances of the proxy. so you load only one proxy, and if you add identical proxies yoiu use the c4d instances to scatter or place copies.
with this only one the the proxy is loaded which is the fastest

1. Create proxy
2. Create instance
3. Assign proxy to instance
4. Spread instance

with mograph just put out proxy as child to cloner object
