ies file gets lost, needs solution

when i try to save a project and reopen it, most of the time the ies file ist lost and i have to manually add it. for using a project on a render farm this causes big problems. what can i do? putting the ies file in the same folder doesn´t solves it.

ies file have absolute path ;-( and save project does not now about existens of ies file

you must know where it will be on rednerfarm and copy exact path to ies files that was given to you by renderfarm, any way it can be even network path i guess, but it must be complete and absolute path.

maybe move this topic to Wish List?

ok, I´ll ask the farmer for this! anyway this would be very cool if the ies files would work as the textures do, so putting an ies file in the tex folder and all is done, this other thing is a bit uncomfortable.

this would fit in the wish list, you´re right. :)
