Hi guys,
I have a project for an architect - he wants a flythrough animation in a livingroom, and during the animation some materials have to be change in order to view several different styles - like different types of floors ect.

I know I can render the different materials and than edit the short animations in final cut, but, is there a quick solution within vray ?

Peace,
Kobi

1) If it is just a simple texture change you could animate the layer shader.

2)Or you could use a vray blend material and animate the individual material weight colors.

3)Another way would be stack the materials up on the object enable mix textures and animate the material weight color from black to white.

4) If you don't mind abrupt changes you could animate what material is assigned in the texture tag.

Thanks shane, I'll try those methods and see what works best...
