What's the reason for a reflection layer?

I was wondering if we can achieve good chrome materials only with the specular channel... why is a reflection layer?

Hello Cogombo,

the Specular layer is an enhanced reflection layer.
If you need only a reflection without glossy i suggest to use it :)
