This test uses Cloth on a vehicle for collision damage and I was assessing whether or not VRay could take the cached data.
It's a success.

The next step is to try 2 cars colliding and limiting the vehicle damage to a side impact and front side damage of truck.
With any luck, VRay will be the render engine of choice.

I'm not worried about the splotches, those are easy to overcome in the final using some of the tricks featured on Spot3d.
The difficult work remains in Cinema 4D, making elements of the crash look more convincing.

add little motion blur to the flying objects the tiny ones that u cant detail much ;)

nice test...keep on...i was wondering how you all make some setup for vray animations...cause not all have a renderfarm at home or the office...

Apparently DannStubb's Renderking will offer his farm out to VRay users in the near future.
Rendercore on the other hand says they have no immediate plans to even consider it, but given time they'll probably come to their senses.
