which data to download?

sorry for this stupid question:

i have just purchased your hq plants vol 1.

there are 5 different (huge) files to download. do i have to download all? cannot figure ist out..

Hi Oliver, it depends from what you use, here is explanation, for example if you don`t use AR3 you can avoid downloading files for it.

please read this link before use trees, it will save you time, also read only part of manual that concern your system (windows, osx), in future i will make autoinstaller ;-)

Size of files is huge because trees poly count is from 50 000 up to 8 000 000 ;-)

one trick, since you don`t use AR3, copy files from hq_plants_vol_01_c4d_vray.7z

to C:\Program Files\maxon\objects\hq_plants_vol_1\advanced_rende r\
for Windows

or

applications/maxon/objects/hq_plants_vol_1/advanced_render/
for MacOS

and you can use advanced_render_proxy_pc folder from lib4d file like xref for real mesh vrayc4d files ;-) so one click one tree.
