Hi guys, I hope you don't mind my suggestions for a little cosmetic improvement to the menus.

I find that with some menus required to be open there is SO much information on show; this can be visually tiring & delays workflow when locating various settings.

IMHO, may I suggest using some colour or tones to separate related settings
and/or hierarchicaly indenting sub-settings (see example) to visually improve
the work space
What do you all think.... ; )

I think you have the same need for a better interface that i have, i was thinking about tabs, but its not possible (didnt know that), this is an alternative that maybe do the trick! good idea!

Hello All,

i thought 1 year ago to make this kind of interface but i fear that can't be done in c4d.

I'll ask directly to maxon :)

Cheers
Renato

Hi Renato,
thanks for asking Maxon!

ZuluQ wants tabs, I'd like to have colours/indents (as above in pictures)

which is easier to achieve ?

Hi Glass.use, thanks for your comments

....it's also in that nice matching Vrayfor C4D blue, so it's just HAS to be possible! ; )

Cheers, Mark

if the same thing could be done when we select/display a material, the actual kinda drop shadow is quite thin on a large display that would be awsome

i really hope this will be added in any further updates. this was suggested many times so far to make the sub tabs more visible and clear

i dont know if its possible but it would be wonderful to adjust ur tabs color by urself in the cinema4d color settings

As Renato said, we already talked about that, but it seems not possible at the moment. Anyway we'll ask Maxon to be more sure.

Cheers
