Just playing with vray and made this simple art gallery in my lunch break, thought it was quite fun so I stuck a person in and posted it. It could probably do with higher GI settings i just used the medium preset which took 6mins @1000x666 on a core2 duo 2.4ghz. I was also working on my pc at the time - you can't beat that vray speed :D
I tried to get caustics in the glass sculpture to work but no luck there - think i need to look at that some more.
I did notice that when i brought the image into PS the colours lost their vibrancy but when i saved it and opened it in windows viewer it was ok again - is this what people mean by this whole linear work flow thing?
Anyway cheers

thanks Glass, no he is just a bloke off the street cut out. I duplicated him and colourised him slightly blue and blended the layers to get the result you see. He's still looking like he is in sunlight but im not losing any sleep over it! haven't got many indoor people - or decent people full stop - need to get building that library!

yeah im not too sure exactly what the floor material is. I had in my head a kind of PVC based mat that was a little uneven and temporary looking and would scuff up a bit. Thought it was a bit more interesting than a flat clean tile. I added the almost un-noticable scuffmarks in the bottom left in photoshop.
Here is the file if anyone wants it - you'll imediately see that its a very messy file that just kind of grew organically

Hi Rhodesy. The image has a good mood. I only think the person looks bit too dark with lighting.
I have this people collection. It´s good for stills and animations.
