we are going to buy a few more licences soon.
why is vrayforc4d about 100 € more expensive than each other bridge?

i know the prices thats why i was wondering about the price difference. theres no difference between the bridges except that vrayforc4d misses a lot of features of 3dsmax vray. i dont have a problem of missing features cause i know they are coming and need time to develop ...its just the 100 € more.

well....all updates to vray3dmax bridge features free. ;-)

yes that's the price,
we have to pay fees for the vray core to chaosgroup AND make the bridge connection, such a development is very expensive, also the c4d market is smaller than the 3d max, in addition we have to bring it into a new system and support c4d features like the c4d shader system etc which is additional extra work. so the price is definitely the lowest possible. after paying the developers, fees and all cost not much is left over infact. most is invested into development again.

other render software cost quite same or more by the way, compare to fryrender, maxwell, renderman and others. it is a quite usual price level for high end engines...
in contrary to many other engines, we have many many free big updates included, also free unlimited render nodes for the NET clients ( you pay for this on most other engines), so i think it is quite a good and friendly system after all.

normally you have the price in for vray in a very few jobs:-)
