Hi all, this is my very first image with vray, all your coments are more than welcome, be nice with me :wink:

The settings:
AA-->adaptative DMC, Filters Sinclanczos 1.5
min subdivision 1, max subdivision 4, threshold 0.01

GI-->Irmap -3 -1 Hemispheric subdivision 70 Interpolated samples 20 (everything else by default) LightCache Subdivision 1000 passes 4 (everything else by default)

Colormapping--> Exponential, 3.75 1.75 0.8 subpixel mapping on

Phycam-->fnumber 5, speed 200, iso 100

Any suggestions for the artifacts of the ceiling will be appreciated

Thanks!

Hi ZuluQ, not bad for a start ;)

For the artifacts on the ceiling, increase the interpolated samples to 40 for starter, and if you are losing too much details because of this, then increase the hemispheric subdivisions.

interesting start ZuluQ.
i wish to see more good works from you.

some tips:
as Fluffy said increase the settings to get rid of the artifacts :wink:

and the map of North America have some sort of reflection problem, perhaps because of the model. (try Function > Untrangiulate)
might work :)

and increase the specular subdivision in your floor mat so you get a smooth blurry floor

i wish you the best ZuluQ
