I felt like doing something different and relaxing a bit this weekend ;-)

Here's the result: The Oscillator plugin

The plugin provides a new XPresso node.

The Oscillator node generates several standard waveforms (sawtooth, triangle, square, sine, cosine, pulse, random pulse, custom curve) with uniform periods and value ranges, that come in very handy for animation. Swinging and jumping objects, blinking and flickering lights, all this is just a few clicks away with the Oscillator node.

The ZIP contains plugin versions for CINEMA 4D R10 - R11.5, as well as a manual in PDF format.

Hope you like it ;-)

I get the impression that this is waveforms, not fomulas (correct me if im wrong)

Hi Tong,

no, the usage of custom formulas with variables etc. is not supported. That's what the standard Formula Node is for ;-)

Of course, all the waveforms that the Oscillator Node generates are based on formulas, too. But anyway, for formulas, use the Formula Node.

Cheers,
Jack
