Will the Vray demo work with the C4D demo?

Hello,

I'm trying to decide whether to get C4D (probably will) and have demos for R11.010 and R11.514. I have tried using the VrayforC4D v1.1 demos for both R10 and R11 but it doesn't seem to do anything except add to the Plugins menu a Vray material converter.

Is it correct that this demo won't work with the C4D demo?

not sure if they're replying anymore, this forum has been dead for quite a while, makes me wonder if the 1.2 (or 1.5!?) demo will ever be released,
they've been announcing the release for half a year or something now..

this forum isnt dead at all.
many many vray users use it daily, and our moderators are here daily.

the vray demo does nt work in thec4d demo. we will see for this possibility in the next demo system, i understand the wish for that.

ok, my mistake,
but why can't you give a rough estimate of when the new plugin demo, 1,2-1.5 will be ready, 2months, 3 months, more? Is that too much to ask for, I imagine you must have an idea,, or is it still "when Igor comes back from his holiday.....",, no offense,

it seems you've been saying 'weeks' forever and I don't think that's solid info for people interested in the new demo, or at least for someone who wants to create or keep their customers, it would be nice to know when you think it might be ready, roughly :)

and will the 1.2 be compatible with r10.5-11? If the forum is not dead as you say it might be nice if you took the time to reply to this,

because in development of software cant have any real estimates, specially when certain parts depend on different development branches, sdks and teams.

if in some part like the sdk an error is found this can easily postbone a release for several weeks. nobody can for see or change that. the only difference is that in most companies you dont here any about those things;-)

1.2.5 is is ready. by the way. i prepare the materials, the developers compile the different versions. if you want a demo you can email us starting on monday (i will announce at beginning of next week here the availability of the new versions and new demo system.)

1.2.5 is the same compatible as 1.2, but i cant promise how long the support for 10..5 can stay. future versions will have to move on to make all features possible. it is already now very hard to impelemnt the features in the old 10.x sdk.

p.s if you look the new post you see there are several hundreds per week and thousands of visitors, we have more than 2million hits a month here in forum (which makes the providers complain already), no idea how you can see this forum as dead;-)
