Yes Sadece,
to get the best performance out of a Vista Machine I would deactivate Aero and switch Cinema 4D into Software Shading mode. Regardless if Vista 64 or Vista 32. I had to make it this way on both. Böyle en iyi calisir.

yea glass.use this will solve it but since software shading is kind of 3 times slower and kinda buggy (eg. wireframe drawin) i went back to xp and opengl. i hope we can opengl will improve alot in vista in future cause vista is so nice

Hi all,
the problem with the OpenGL "bug" is that Microsoft wrote an OpenGL Wrapper to implement their "new and pretty" interface called Aero. The whole System is based on this Wrapper as long as you use Aero. You will have problems with Games also. Your Graphics Card has to be much more tuned than it was under XP. All the API Function Calls are "tunneled" through this wrapper. And this Wrapper is so completely different that these problems have to occur. Software Vendors like Maxon have to support this "technology". I curse the day I bought Vista (to be honest). XP needed years to get an Stable Status and was replaced. That is Microsoft.

Moe

Aero is the new Look of Windows. Black in the Home Basic Edition, Green in the Home Premium Edition, with transparency or Flip 3D or whatever. According to Microsoft, Aero is not only a Theme, it is a technology. And here is the point where all the trouble begins. To develop a technology like this there is a need of additional technology. And here comes things like the OpenGL Wrapper as part of this new technology. If you right Click on your Desktop, choose Personalize then click on Theme and choose "Windows Classic" in the Theme PopUp you are on the right side of life. Almost. Right, your Windows will look like 1999 but act like 2005. That is more than you can expect of Vista. The other method would be a downgrade to XP. That is something everyone has to decide on his own.

No. Sorry. OpenGL still won't work. But Cinema 4D will work a little bit better. And the lack of Speed you would see with Software Shading GL thingy will be cut down to a minimum.

it was my first method but i couldnt downgrade to XP because of driver issues. unfortunately, microsoft forces us to use vista. i'm still prayin for a patch to be released :)
