Hi,

sorry, no help for you Kurgan!
I also have a question about this.

It assume, is a second 3D-View window with "interactive Rendering" applied.
But, in my case, "interactive Rendering" can only applied to the main Viewport Window
and not to another (smaller) 3D-View. How is that done?

regards
mike

ah o.k.

Just add the interactive Rendering to the main window.
Open a smaller second 3d view and then change the views.
And of course very low GI settings. Hope this helps!

mike

well not low but specific
set primary and secondary GI to Light cache
and choose for it

Progressive path tracing - in this mode, the light cache algorithm is used to sample the final image progressively. For a discussion of this mode see the tutorial.

I just don't get vray to progress the pathtracing.
In PPT Preset I disabled override lc subdivs to give it better quality:
- i see cinema starting to render with small blue progress bar (down left side) but it only shows up in IRR when finished. with lower lc settings i will get IRR earlier but i still can't watch rendering progress, so i think this is what it was meant to be for, right?

C4D R10.506 win7 64bit
vray 1.2.5.5

would be great if someone can help me, i think this is an awsome feature, and i really could neet it!
